Maximum Penalties For First Offense DUI Below 0.15
In Florida if you are convicted of DUI and you submitted to a breath alcohol test and the results of the breath alcohol test where below 0.15 then the judge in the case is required by law to impose the following mandatory minimum penalties in your case. The judge can impose up to the maximum penalties allowed by law which are:
Adjudication of guilt(conviction) which prohibits sealing or expungement
6 months in jail
1 year of probation
DUI school
Alcohol and drug evaluation and counseling if recommended
Victim awareness program
1 year driver’s license revocation
10 day or more vehicle impoundment or immobilization
50 or more hours of community work service
$1,000.00 fine
